Eamcet aspirants shift centre to Hyderabad

Following the setting up of three regional centres for the AP EAMCET-2015 in Hyderabad, students who had earlier opted for Vijayawada, Kurnool and Guntur regional centres, have now decided to shift to Hyderabad.

AP EAMCET convener Ch. Sai Babu said on Monday that 7,509 applicants from Vijayawada centre, 6,209 from Kurnool and 2,222 from Guntur centre had already opted for a shift of their examination centres to Hyderabad.

The regional centres in Hyderabad were divided into Zone-A, Zone-B and Zone-C. Against the allocation of 6,000 applicants from Engineering stream in Zone-A, 3,207 applicants have already chosen it. Similarly, in Zone-B, the allocation was 8,000 and the shift was 358 and for the Zone-C the allocation was 7,000 and the shift was 3,147 so far. Mr. Sai Babu said that the applicants had the option to change their centres even now, as there was a gap between the allocation and the option in all the three zones.
