: A passion for movie making has led this emergency physician to dabble in the world of films. Gade Ravindra, emergency physician, NRI General Hospital, has brought his versatility to the fore in the short film, “Vengeance,’’ the premiere of which is being held on Sunday evening at Hotel K&M International. Superintendent of Police, Guntur Urban, Sarva Srestha Tripathi will release the short film in the presence of leading doctors and other personalities.

An all-NRI Hospital team

The entire cast of the short film is drawn from medical graduates and doctors at the NRI General Hospital. Dr. Ravindra plays the villain in the movie and the cast includes Siva Karthik (hero), Rashmee (heroine). Some slick editing by Tejakiran J and high technical values makes the movie thoroughly enjoyable.

“After making a parody “Pista Doctors,’’ in March 2015, we started this short movie. The entire cast has been drawn from NRI Hospital and we shot the movie during weekends. Medical profession is stressful and by dabbling in creative works like these, we beat the stress,’’ said Dr. Ravindra.

The movie has been shot in various locations including NRI Medical College, SIMS College, Bommidala Guest House and the reserve forest of Kondapalli.
