Disqualification of MLCs to take two more weeks

April 03, 2012 11:25 am | Updated 11:25 am IST - HYDERABAD:

Decision on disqualification of three members of Legislative Council will take two more weeks.

Responding to a question from media persons here on Tuesday, Council Chairman A. Chakrapani said that Congress Whip Y. Sivarami Reddy had petitioned seeking disqualification for anti-party activities. But as the House was in session, the members sought for a couple of weeks time. “Let me get their counters. Then I will take a decision,” he said.

Of the three members, Pulla Padmavathi returned to the ruling party's fold. The other two are Konda Murali and S. V. Mohan Reddy.
