Support continues to pour in for YSR Congress president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, whose indefinite fast demanding Special Category Status for Andhra Pradesh completed four days on Saturday.

Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy looked weak and his pulse rates have started falling down, according to a bulletin released by doctors of Government General Hospital.

Leaders of various political parties, civic organisations and associations called on Mr. Jagan at the venue on Nallapadu Road and expressed their solidarity with the fasting leader. The crowds are mostly comprising youngsters. CPI(M) State secretary P. Madhu visited Mr. Jagan and extended his support. Addressing people, Mr. Madhu slammed Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for reneging on all his poll promises and further pushing the State into bankruptcy.

Mr. Madhu also called on people from all sections of society to extend their support to the indefinite fast.

Y.S Vijayamma, mother of Mr. Jagan, also addressed the gathering. Seeking the blessings of the people, she accused Mr. Naidu of creating all kinds of obstacles for the fast.
