Cleaning of the Collectorate premises and departments by Collector M.M. Nayak along with heads and staff of various government departments marked Gandhi Jayanti celebrations and the first anniversary of Swachh Bharat Mission on Friday. Earlier, Mr. Nayak led a rally from R & B Guest House to the Collectorate where he paid rich tributes to a bust of Mahatma Gandhi . He administered ‘Swachh Bharat’ pledge to the officials. He appealed to the people to build ISLs in homes and stop open defecation and maintain personal hygiene.
