Taking strong objection to the rude behaviour of Denduluru MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday warned him of disciplinary action if he did not mend his ways.

He expressed displeasure at the alleged attack of a former sarpanch by the MLA in West Godavari district, during a meeting with party leaders.

Mr. Naidu told the district party leaders to advise Mr. Prabhakar to change his conduct if he was serious about his political career.

He observed that the MLA’s behaviour was tarnishing the image of the party and he should realise the consequences of crossing his limits.

The party was cutting a sorry figure because of Mr. Prabhakar’s demeanour, the CM reportedly told the TDP leaders, fearing that the party might even suffer electoral reverses in the constituency.

The CM recalled that Mr. Prabhakar had allegedly assaulted an MRO and was involved in various cases.

This sort of behaviour would not be tolerated, he said.
