Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Friday said film actor Neetu Agarwal's arrest had exposed the links of YSR Congress leaders with the red sanders mafia. He said that the red sanders smuggling menace would be ruthlessly curbed.
Addressing a press conference at Kundelugutta Handri-Neeva branch canal site in Tamballapalle constituency here, Mr. Naidu said that it was unfortunate that nameless people like Masthan Vali could amass huge wealth with red sanders smuggling and were making films.
"In the name of film making, innocent people are being cheated." the Chief Minister said adding that the culprits were using their victims for political links. "People are thoroughly watching their vile designs and would teach them a befitting lesson," he added.
He warned that the contractors who were not willing to keep pace with targets in water projects would be dealt with sternly. "They are free to opt out of their contracts it they are not willing," he said.
