Chandrababu pulls up municipal officials in Nellore

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu conducted a surprise visit in Nellore city here on Saturday when he pulled up the officials of the municipal corporation for not taking complete measures for sanitation and cleanliness through regular monitoring.

Mr. Naidu visited Brahmanandapuram, Dargamitta, Ramnagar, Vengalraonagar and Dykas Road during the surprise check. He was accompanied by Mayor Abdul Aziz, District Collector M. Janaki, former minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy and others.

In Dargamitta area, Mr. Naidu stepped down from his vehicle and inspected the open drain running through the area. He pulled up the officials over the drain not being cleaned up properly. He enquired from the officials about the steps being taken to close the drain as it was in a densely populated area. He also enquired about disposal of the garbage there.
