The long-awaited reshuffle of the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet is likely to take place on November 11.

The swearing-in of the new Ministers is scheduled to be held around 11.45 a.m. at Praja Vedika, near the Chief Minister’s residence in Undavalli, according to official sources.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is learnt to have given his nod for inducting slain MLA Kidari Sarveswara Rao’s son, Sravan, and Legislative Council Chairman N. Md. Farooq to give representation to the tribal and Muslim minority communities respectively.

The portfolios of some existing members in the Cabinet may also be changed as per the changing political equations.

It may be noted that two berths in the Cabinet fell vacant following the resignation of Kamineni Srinivas and Pydikondala Manikyala Rao in the wake of the break up of the TDP-Bharatiya Janata Party alliance.
