A meeting between BJP president Amit Shah and YSR Congress MLA and Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman Buggana Rajendranath Reddy created a flutter on Thursday. The TDP reacted bitterly to it and alleged that both the parties were resorting to conspiracy politics at the cost of the State development.

BJP State president Kanna Lakshminarayana, MLA Akula Satyanarayana and others were present when Mr. Reddy met their party president. The YSR Congress leader told Mr. Shah that he had evidence to prove that the State government resorted to corrupt practices and irregularities. He also said to have submitted a report to him.

Backward Classes (BC) Welfare Minister K. Atchannaidu and Industries Minister Amarnath Reddy came down on the YSR Congress and the BJP.

The YSR Congress became a branch party of the BJP. The TDP had been saying the BJP and the YSR Congress were resorting to conspiracy politics and the meeting gave credence to the claims. The BJP-YSR Congress combine was targeting TDP national president and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu as he raised voice against the Centre, they alleged.
