Assembly winter session at Thullur

The winter session of Andhra Pradesh Legislature will be held at Thullur in the new capital region in December.

Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao discussed the move to hold the winter session at Thullur with officials in his chambers on Tuesday.

Mr. Rao suggested that a temporary Assembly premises be set up on a five-acre land in Thullur and wanted the officials to take it up prestigiously as the session would be held for the first time in capital region.

He asked the engineering officials to begin work on a war-footing in view of the short time.

The Speaker while seeking some changes in the designs told the officials to seek the approval of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and incorporate the changes suggested by him.
