Several IPS officers given new postings in State

In a shuffle of IPS officers in the State on Friday, Additional Director General of Police, Amit Garg, CID, was transferred and posted as Chairman, State level Police Recruitment Board, in existing vacancy.

P.V. Sunil Kumar, VC&MD, A.P. State Police Housing Corporation Ltd., was transferred and posted as Additional DGP, CID, in place of Mr. Amit Garg. Mr. Kumar was also given FAC to the post of VC&MD, A.P. State Police Housing Corporation Ltd., until further orders.

K. Venkateswara Rao, IGP, Legal, in the DGP office, was transferred and his services were placed at the disposal of the Energy Department to post him as JMD (Vigilance & Security), AP-Transco.

Ch. Vijaya Rao, DCP-II, Vijayawada, was transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Guntur Rural, in place of R. Jayalakshmi, who would be appointment as SP, CBI, on deputation.

Vikrant Patil, SRP, Guntakal, was transferred and posted as DCP-II, Vijayawada.

S. Senthil Kumar, SP, Intelligence (ISW), was transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Chittoor, in place of Ch. Venkata Appala Naidu, who was posted as SP, Intelligence (ISW).

K.K.N. Anburajan, SP, Tirupati Urban, was transferred and posted as SP, Kadapa, in place of Abhishek Mohanty, who is on leave.

Ghajarao Bhupal, Commandant, 6th Battalion, APSP, Mangalagiri, was transferred and posted as SP, Tirupati Urban. S.V. Rajasekhara Babu, SP (Waiting), was posted as AIG (L&O), in the DGP office.
