Srikakulam Advocates Bar Association, which is up in arms against both Collector P.Lakshmi Narasimham and Joint Collector Vivek Yadav for their alleged derogatory remarks against an advocate Chapara Ramesh, called for State-wide agitation on Monday.

BAR Association officials Yenni Surya Rao, Jallu Tirupati Rao, Vana Krishna Chand, A.Krishnamraju and others who held meetings on Friday and Saturday decided to organise massive protest against the IAS officers. “The AP Bar Association has already condemned their rude behaviour to advocate Chapara Ramesh. Advocates in all districts will boycott courts and take out rallies on Monday,” said Mr. Vana Krishna Chand.

According to them, Mr. Vivek Yadav has reportedly used abusive language while discussing a dispute with regard to the Vedamata Gas Agency. The issue was immediately brought to the notice of the Collector who reportedly said it was better not to have argument with IAS officers. He also has reportedly made sarcastic comments on the attire of advocates.
