Film director and actor R. Narayana Murthy called on employees of Aurobindo pharma, who are on an indefinite fast for the last 14 days outside office of the Joint Commissioner of Labour in Visakhapatnam on Sunday. The employees under the banner of Aurobindo Pharma Employees’ Union, an affiliate of IFTU, are demanding wage revision and protesting against the vindictive actions of the management. Expressing solidarity with the employees, Mr. Narayana Murthy said it was unfortunate that the government was untouched by the plight of the employees.
