The ‘Telangana Mahagarjna’ rally, scheduled to be held in Warangal tomorrow, has been postponed to December 16 following heavy rains.

The Telangana Rasthra Samiti (TRS) had planned to organise the rally to mark the anniversary of Centre’s announcement on initiating the process for creating Telangana state on December 9 last year.

The TRS claimed more than 10 lakh people from each and every village of Telangana would attend the rally to showcase the strong aspiration for a separate state.

However, heavy rains in the last two days has disturbed arrangements for the rally, forcing the TRS to put it off to December 16.
