The ‘Bus Yatra’ by 30 Telugu Desam legislators belonging to Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions launched in Tirupati on Friday arrived here on Saturday to mobilise support for the cause of an integrated Andhra Pradesh and to congratulate those involved actively in the movement irrespective of party affiliations.

The Telugu Desam leaders visited the Sri Krishnadevaraya University campus and spoke to the students who were the first to spearhead the movement for integration in Anantapur district. They also addressed a public meeting in the local Saptagiri circle and also visited the fasting TDP MLAs admitted at the government hospital.

The leaders maintained that the actual movement for the creation of Telangana State was confined to a mere three out of ten districts. Except for Karimnagar, Nizamabad and Warangal districts, there was no support for separation in the remaining seven Telangana districts.
