Telangana Political Joint Action Committee today accused Congress MLA T Jayaprakash Reddy’s supporters of attacking its activists in Medak district and demanded action against him.

“The supporters of the MLA attacked JAC workers at Sangareddy town on Saturday when they tried to question some State ministers about Telangana demand. It is unbecoming on the part of MLA to resort to such attack... We demand Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy take action against him,” JAC Convener M Kodandaram told reporters here.

Police should register a case in this regard, he said, adding that the JAC would also petition State Human Rights Commission about the attack.
