Allocation of SEZ to Wipro, land for Tech Mahindra

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday announced Special Economic Zone for Wipro, 10 acres for Tech Mahindra and 13 acres for Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineers and Research at Visakhapatnam.

Tweeting these details, Mr. Naidu said these projects would provide 13,000 jobs directly and 10,000 jobs indirectly in Visakhapatnam, a city which would “become the hub for AP’s future IT scene”. A special committee will tour Visakhapatnam tomorrow, he added.
