5G Wi-Fi service launched

Passengers travelling from the APSRTC bus station here can now access 5G Wi-Fi services on their cellphones free of cost as BSNL General Manager Anantaram and RTC Regional Manager S. Dhanunjaya Rao inaugurated this facility here on Wednesday.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Anantharam said that the passengers can make use of the services free of cost for first half-an-hour and then it will be charged according to the usage.

A kiosk has been opened at the bus stand from where passengers can buy 5G service recharge coupons in different denominations for quick recharge of their phones, tabs and laptops or any other electronic devices to access Internet.

Mr. Dhanunjaya Rao said this facility was first launched during the Godavari Maha Pushkaram in Rajahmundry and Kovvuru bus stations.

He said that all the APSRTC bus stations in all major towns will have Wi-Fi facility soon and the project will be implemented in a phased manner.
