In a record-setting performance, as many as 33 students of the municipal schools in the city secured a 10 out of 10-grade point average (GPA) score in the SSC results announced on Sunday. Twenty-six of them are from the specially-trained Advanced Foundation Course batch. In 2017, only six students scored the highest marks.
In a release, the civic officials said that all the 28 civic high schools having 41 English, Telugu and Urdu medium batches totally, achieved a pass percentage of 93%, with 1927 students out of the 2063 passing the examination.
