Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has stated that the State government will provide industrial concessions worth ₹2,500 crore in the next 45 days.

Interacting with industrialists on Tuesday, Mr. Naidu said that Andhra Pradesh was only State in the country to announce that there would not be upward revision in power tariff. The government would provide all facilities to promote the industrial sector. The World Bank gave Number 1 ranking to A.P. with regard to ease of doing business, he said.

Hi-tech approach

Through industrial corridors, many of which are still in the planning stage, industrial activity would pick up in the State. The government was standardising and digitising most procedures and regulations, keeping in mind the impact on the environment also.

“With a lot of hard work from our department, Kia Motors, Apollo Tyres and various huge investments have come to Andhra Pradesh. Each investment is a success story on its own. Telugu people have been dynamic and successful all over the world. We are professionals today, let us aim to become the best entrepreneurs too,” he said.

“I am extremely happy with the way we have grown so far. We are creating the perfect ecosystem for businesses to grow,” he said.
