The State government proposes to constitute fresh executive bodies for various temples and endowment institutions, including the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) either in the first or second week of September. In a chat with reporters in the Assembly lobbies in Hyderabad on Monday, Endowments Minister Manikyala Rao said no specified authority would be appointed for the TTD in the interregnum.

He said under the recent ordinance the strength of each executive body was being enhanced by two members, besides an ex-officio member.
