The 225 passengers stranded in Budapest after a London-Mumbai Air India flight was diverted to the Hungarian capital for technical reasons on Thursday night were flown to Mumbai and Delhi on two flights late on Friday afternoon, airline officials said.

“The two Air India flights — AI 142 from Paris to Delhi and AI 120 from Frankfurt to Delhi — landed in Budapest to bring back the passengers,” the officials said.
