A list of the decisions taken at its national council meeting, and released by the party, said the Political Affairs Committee had now been empowered to take action against any member who issues media statements against ‘the party line’.
“The national council has also authorised the PAC to take disciplinary action against any member who, without authorisation, issues media statement against party line and decisions to tarnish the party’s image,” the statement said.
