A busy final day for Modi in New York

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will return to a busy final day in the city before returning to India on Monday evening. Climate change and the situation in South Asia are likely to dominate Mr. Modi’s meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama on Monday.

Mr. Modi will also meet President François Hollande of France and Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani.

Mr. Modi is also meeting Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas against the backdrop of India’s increasing proximity to Israel. The Prime Minister will also participate in a lunch hosted by U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
