Pawar doing well after surgery

The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Chief Sharad Pawar Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar is recovering well after undergoing a surgical procedure to remove mouth infection.

“Pawar is doing fine and he is expected to be in hospital for at least two more days,” state NCP spokesperson Prakash Binsale told PTI today.

The Minister yesterday underwent a surgical procedure to remove mouth infection at a city hospital.

The procedure to remove infective granuloma took almost an hour.

Asked if Pawar’s hospitalisation would have an impact on the party’s anniversary celebrations today, Binsale said, .

“We are celebrating the anniversary.”
