Modi condoles loss of lives in Hosur train mishap

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condoled the death of 11 passengers following the derailment of an inter-city express near Anekal in Karnataka on Friday morning.

“Saddened by the loss of lives due to derailing of Bengaluru-Ernakulam Express. Condolences to the families of the deceased,” Mr. Modi tweeted.

“I wish the injured a speedy recovery. Railway Minister and officials are closely monitoring the situation and ensuring timely relief,” the Prime Minister said.
