Modi’s gesture to AAP MP

December 17, 2015 03:39 am | Updated November 17, 2021 01:02 am IST - NEW DELHI:

That Parliamentary behaviour, can, on rare occasions, transcend partisan politics was on full display in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday morning.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Bhagwant Mann had rushed to the well protesting against the > CBI raid on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s Principal Secretary Rajender Kumar’s office.

After sloganeering for some time, the MP felt parched and found that he was being offered a glass of water by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, against whose government he had been protesting.

‘I have nothing against PM’ Mr. Mann gulped down the water and declared himself grateful to the PM. “I have nothing against the PM, only his style of working,” he said. A different > tune from his leader who termed Prime Minister Modi a “coward and psychopath” in a tweet.
