Jethmalani to defend Delhi CM

Noted lawyer Ram Jethmalani will be representing Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal as he fights a defamation case filed against him by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.

He also appealed to the court to expedite the case and not allow it to drag on. Mr Jaitley has filed a criminal defemation case against Mr Kejriwal and his party members, Mr Ashutosh, Mr Kumar Vishwas, Mr Raghav Chaddha, Mr Sanjay Singh and Mr Deepak Bajpayee.

Putting up a defiant front against the defamation case filed by Mr. Jaitley against him and five other AAP leaders on Monday, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said his party was not scared of any lawsuits, and challenged the Union Minister to prove his innocence before the Inquiry Commission set up by the Delhi government on Sunday to probe the alleged scam in Delhi and District Cricket Association. > More...
