CBSE exams in March, AIEEE on April 25

The annual examinations for classes XII and X, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), will begin from the first working day of March next. The detailed date-sheet would be announced in December last week, said a circular issued by the CBSE here on Friday.

The Board has decided to introduce the grading scheme at the secondary level for classes IX and X from the current academic year 2009-2010. Accordingly, the “statement of subject-wise performance” to be issued with effect from the class X examinations 2010, will have only grades. The All-India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) will be held on April 25. The preliminary exam for the All-India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination is scheduled for April 3, the final one will be conducted on May 16.
