One militant was killed on Monday as the Army foiled an infiltration along the Line of Control (LoC) in Naugam sector of Kashmir. This is the third such incident within a week.
“An infiltration was foiled in Naugam sector this morning. One militant has been killed in the operation, which was going on till reports last came in,” an Army official said.
Four militants were killed and one was apprehended in an anti-infiltration operation on July 26, followed by another operation on July 30, in which two militants and two soldiers were killed.
