August 04, 2015 02:32 am | Updated November 16, 2021 05:23 pm IST - NEW DELHI:

The Cricket Association of Bihar (CAB) on Monday filed an application asking the Supreme Court to hand over to the Justice R.M. Lodha Committee a sealed report referring to allegations against 13 persons in connection with the IPL betting controversy.

A press note issued on Monday by Aditya Verma, secretary of the Association, said the Justice Mukul Mudgal Committee, which probed the case, had handed over the report to the court in a sealed cover to protect the reputation of these persons as allegations against them were not “established.”

Mr. Verma said the committee had, however, submitted that the allegations required verification.

The application filed by the association through Mr. Verma, also wanted the first report and the full text of the third report of the Mudgal panel to be handed over to the Lodha Committee.

At one point, the court had asked the Mudgal panel to further probe the allegations against the 13 persons, including officials and some capped players.
