A drone strike on Monday killed a suspected al—Qaeda fighter in Yemen’s eastern province of Mareb, local media reported.

Mujahed Gaber al—Shabwani and two others were killed when a drone fired a missile that hit their vehicle, the Barakish news website reported.

Yemeni air raids and US drone strikes frequently target suspected al—Qaeda militants holed up in remote areas in the Arabian Peninsula country.
