Pakistan on Saturday arrested 27 Indian fishermen for allegedly violating its territorial waters off the coast of southern Sindh province, a maritime official said.
The fishermen were arrested on the Arabian Sea off the coast of Badin district in Sindh.
An official of Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) has confirmed that 27 Indian fishermen were arrested with their four fishing vessels.
He said the fishermen will be handed over to police in Karachi to register cases against them.
