Saudi-led airstrikes hit Yemen rebels

Yemeni security officials say aircraft from the Saudi-led coalition battling Shia rebels struck targets in several cities including the capital as fighting raged on across the country.

They say the strikes early on Sunday hit a military base on the outskirts of Sana’a, as well as sites near the presidential palace where weapons were being moved. In the southern port city of Aden, they say air raids targeted the rebels, known as Houthis, as street fighting between them and forces loyal to exiled President Abdrahbu Mansour Hadi continued.
