Russian President, Vladimir Putin poured cold water on allegations that Russia interfered in the US presidential elections.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that claims of Russian involvement in United States presidential elections were untrue, and that on the contrary, it was the US that actively interfered with elections in other countries.

He dismissed as “a load of nonsense” the idea that Russia has damaging information on President Donald Trump. Putin made the comments in an interview with NBC’s “Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly.”

U.S. intelligence agencies have concluded that Russia meddled in the presidential election to hurt the bid of Democrat Hillary Clinton. Trump himself has been dogged by questions about any business dealings with Russia firms, or state-run organizations.

Putin also rubbished reports of the existence of a dossier containing damaging personal information regarding his American counterpart.
