Pakistan claims killing three Indian soldiers

The Pakistan military on October 4 alleged that Indian forces continued to target civilian population along the Line of Control and killed two children in a mortar attack that hit a house in Rawalakot sector. Military spokesman said Pakistani troops engaged Indian posts killing at least three Indian soldiers and injuring five.

A brief statement by military said Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing along LoC in Rawalakot and Chirikot sectors. “Indian unprovoked firing targeted civilian population of villages Kakuta, Chaffar, Serian and Narakot. Mortar rounds hit house of a civilian Sakhi Kayani in village Chaffar. Resultantly his two children have embraced shahadat (martyrdom). Pakistan Army posts are effectively engaging Indian posts Reports of three Indian soldiers killed, five injured. Indian posts suffered heavy damage. Intermittent firing continues.” the statement concluded.
