Pro-IS note found near body of Paris gunman who kills police officer

The assailant had shot dead a policeman and two other police officers were wounded.

Investigators found a written note defending the Islamic State next to the body of the gunman who shot dead a policeman in Paris on Thursday, a judicial source said.

The hardline militant group claimed the attack, which also wounded two police officers.
