Nine killed, 40 injured in multiple bus crash in Germany

At least nine people were killed and 40 injured in a multiple bus crash in the eastern German city of Dresden, police said Saturday.

The accident took place on a highway at about 2 am, police said.

According to initial information, a Polish coach crashed into a bus from Ukraine.

The Polish coach skidded, crashed through the median and collided with a Polish minibus on the other side of the highway.

A large rescue team was at the accident site and the highway was closed.
