At least five people were killed and 15 injured Monday when two suicide car bombs exploded near the Green Zone in Baghdad, a security official said.
The victims include both civilians and soldiers, according to Qassim Atta, head of Baghdad’s Operations Command.
The attack took place at the western entrance to the Green Zone, a heavily fortified area which houses government offices and many foreign embassies.
