10 militants killed in Pakistan

At least 10 militants were killed by the Pakistan Rangers during two intelligence-based operations in the Sindh province, media reported on Wednesday.

The operations took place on Tuesday in Karachi’s Manghopir area and on the Super Highway near Kathor, reported Dawn online.

According to a Rangers spokesperson, when Rangers’ personnel reached the Super Highway near Kathor, militants opened fire at them, injuring two paramilitary personnel. In the ensuing exchange of fire, six militants were killed.

In the Rangers’ operation in Karachi’s Mangophir area, four militants were killed.

Ammunition, explosives and a suicide vest were recovered from the slain militants.
