Winners of painting contest felicitated

Three children were felicitated on Saturday for winning prizes in the junior and senior categories of a painting competition jointly organised by The Hindu Group and NLCIL to mark the Vigilance Awareness Week held from October 29 to November 3.

The topic was ‘Eradicate Corruption - Build a New India’ on the occasion of Vigilance Awareness Week.

I.P. Vikash of Amalorpavam Lourdes Academy, Puducherry, bagged the first prize in the juniors category while Vijayalakshmi of Coimbatore, Air Force School, bagged the first prize in the seniors category in painting competition.

Dinakar of Central School, Kalpakkam, bagged the first prize in the poetry contest.

Superintendent of Police Saravanan, NLCIL functional Directors Thangapandian, Vikraman, Rao and Chief Vigilance Officer Venkatasubramanian distributed the prizes to the winners.
