Rally for ethical voting in Puducherry

Public asked to keep vigil against distribution of cash or kind

The District Election Office and the Nehru Yuva Kendra on Saturday carried out an awareness rally to spread information on ethical voting.

S.B. Deepak Kumar, Collector cum District Election Officer, flagged off the rally at Kamban Kalai Arangam.

A large number of volunteers, officials and others took part in it.

The volunteers carrying banners and placards went along the important streets in the city including Anna Salai, Kamarajar Salai and others.

Pamphlets

They also distributed pamphlets to the passersby.

They asked the voters to keep vigil against distribution of cash or kind for votes.
