Power supply will be disrupted on Thursday from 9.30 a.m to 2.30 p.m in Vamba Keerapalayam, Dubrayapet, parts of Subbiah Salai, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Y.V. Pillai Street, Ellaiamman Koil Street, Bussy Street, Mulla Street, Caziar Street, Nainiappa Street, Pandian Lane and Thillai Maistry Steet. Supply will be suspended to facilitate maintenance work.

Supply will also be restricted from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday in Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Tsunami Quarters, Central Jail, Shasun Unit-I and II, Study School, Navodaya Vidyalaya School, Pondicherry University quarters, Pondicherry Engineering College, Alankuppam, Sanjeevi Nagar, Sewage Treatment plant and surrounding areas.
The supply disruption was owing to maintenance work at Kalapet sub-station, the Electricity Department said in a release.
