No COVID-19 case in U.T.

185 persons screened; 566 persons given first dose of vaccine

No COVID-19 case has been reported in the Union Territory during the last 24 hours, ending Saturday 10 a.m. For more than a week now, the Union Territory had maintained its status of being COVID-19 free.

The Health Department had screened 185 persons for the virus but none turned positive. During the 24 hour time period, the department administered the first dose of the vaccine to 566 persons taking the total number of persons who have received the first dose to 9,57,569 in the Union Territory.
