NLC dedicates a walkway

The Neyveli Lignite Corporation Ltd (NLC) has dedicated a walkway in Neem Park, Block-16 to the public.

Sarat Kumar Acharya, CMD-NLC, opened the Neem Park Walkers Way, by unveiling the stone inscription. The walk-way laid with acupressure tiles and surrounded by 40 neem trees was constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 8 lakh.

Building inaugurated

Mr. Acharya later opened the extended new building for the Power Station Engineering Department at Corporate Office. The second floor of the extended building has been constructed at a cost of Rs.1.36 crore

NLC’s Functional Directors, Rakesh Kumar, Director (Finance), S. Boopathy, Director (P&P), Subir Das, Director (Mines) and V. Thangapandian, Director (Power), and other senior officers participated.
