Live up to people’s trust, Bedi urges govt. staff, police

Lieutenant Governor Kiran Bedi on Monday exhorted the police force to live up to the trust reposed by the public during a meet-and-greet separately with police officers and staff from various departments of ther government.

“A true Deepavali would be to light up our lives every day through deeds of good karma. As government servants and custodians of public money and resources, we should serve the people with dedication, integrity, honesty and render justice impartially without fear or favour,” was Ms. Bedi’s message.

Later, A Deepavali eve inter-faith prayer meeting was organised at Raj Nivas featuring recital of hymns of all religions.
