A team of nine students of pharmaceutical medicine from Nancy, a city in France and members of AHNEP, a non-profit organisation organised a free medical camp for the underprivileged at Chanda Sahib Street here on Friday.

The team led by Nabila and Perrine checked blood sugar, haemoglobin, blood pressure, and conducted ECG and Echo test besides providing diet consultation to over 125 persons.

The students also donated Rs.3 lakh for renovation of a dormitory for underprivileged children at St. Mathias School in Uppalam and donated toys and clothes to crèches in Kottakuppam.
