The Consul General of Canada in Bengaluru, Nicole Girard, made courtesy calls on Lt. Governor Kiran Bedi and Chief Minister V. Narayanasamy on Wednesday.
During the meeting at Raj Nivas, the Lt. Governor suggested collaborative programmes and cultural exchanges for upgradation of skill sets of the youth to tap opportunities in both countries.
Subha Sundararajan, Trade Commissioner, Trade Office, Chennai, and G. Theva Neethi Das, OSD to the Lt. Governor, also participated.
Ms. Girard also called on the Chief Minister in his chamber.
