A 42-year-old man drowned while swimming near the beach behind Le-Cafe
The deceased, Manikantan, a driver from Bengaluru, had come to the town with tourists on Sunday. After dropping the tourists, he went for a swim. He was carried away by a huge wave. His body was found near the Old Port area on Sunday evening, police said.
